Summer Reads

Summer is officially here - yaaaay! In the summer I like to wind down and relax by reading. Early this year I read Looking for Alaska by John Green and now it is my all time favourite book! I even brought a copy of my own! I have high hope for this book too Paper Towns by John Green, John Green is a great writer for teenagers and he and his brother also have a youtube channel called - vlogbrothers. It's pretty funny.

Anyway, I go to my local library to borrow books, it's free ( as long as you don't bring the books back late) and you can also reserve books if they aren't there like I reserved Paper Towns, although it took the librarian ages to find it because she typed in Paper Towels haha.

This is the first of my summer reads and if it's anything like Looking for Alaska it will be so gripping that I won't be able to put it down!!

I will review this book after I've read it, and I'm always looking for good books so if you have any suggestions for my summer reads please comment below.

So far my summer reading list is as follows:

1. Paper Towns - John Green
2. A Certain Age - Rebbecca Fay
3. The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky
4. (Re-read) Looking for Alaska - John Green
5. It's Kind of a Funny Story - Ned Vizzini

  1. The 'Summer' trilogy by Jenny Han is really good. Perfect summer reads!
I just finished the first Hunger Games book and totally recommend it.
The Secret Lives of Dresses by Erin McKean was also a very good book!
